Marvel Heroes Omega Closed Beta Begins

PlayStation 4 owners can now officially check out the Marvel Heroes Omega closed beta as of today. The popular MMOARPG has kicked off the console edition’s closed beta for those who are willing to buy in with a Founder’s Pack.

Founder’s Packs are being offered in one of five bundles, unlocking either Deadpool, Spider-Man, The Avengers, the X-Men, or The Guardians of the Galaxy along with several other in-game perks. Regardless of which bundle is purchased, instant access to the current closed beta is included. The PlayStation Store is also selling packs of Gs, the in-game currency for purchasing items in-game.

The closed beta of Marvel Heroes Omega will feature over 30 different characters, online play (of course), and local two-player co-op play. While the current test is specific for PS4, Xbox One players will be getting their shot later.

The length of the closed beta itself wasn’t specified, but you can check out Marvel Heroes Omega in action in the trailer below.

Our Thoughts

Marvel Heroes is definitely one of the more fun MMOARPGs out there, and we’re excited that the closed beta for the PS4 version is firing up. If you’re taking part in the closed beta, we’d love to hear your impressions of how the game plays on the console, so be sure to share your thoughts with us.
